View from a Bridge.

A quick shot taken as we walked from the "back door" of the conference centre to Brindley Place looking for lunch.  Another busy day.  As well as the debates which covered such varied topics as the teacher retention crisis, Health & safety/class sizes, mental health of children & young people we had various awards.  These included recruitment, health & safety  and a spot on International Solidarity.

The international solidarity section is always harrowing hearing about trade unionists round the world being imprisoned and even tortured.  In some cases assassinated all for trade union activity.
