Exploring

I’ve known Blithfield Reservoir since I was a very small child. As a family, we would stop near to the long road bridge and I always wished I could explore.

A few months ago, my brother told me about a Visitors Centre, approached from a different route. As it was a glorious morning, armed with an OS map, I went to find it.

There were two friendly dog walkers around who were helpful. It was a bit muddy but simply marvellous.

I climbed up for a while but the mud made it hazardously slippery so I changed direction. There are plenty more paths to explore.

I will certainly be back. Thank you, brother.
