........ but great news!

Hubby rang the garage at 11.30am to be told the car was almost ready & we could pick it up after 2pm (14:00). Apparently the brake had disintegrated through old age ........ we have had the car for 13 years ..... so I suppose that's not bad going!

We haven't had the bill yet ......

This meant we didn't have to hire a car & we could still do Mum's shopping & ours at just a little later than usual :-)

Not the best weather for shopping this afternoon though ..... we had several heavy showers ..... mostly timed as we were out of the car! Needless to say we did get a little damp!
