Bashkir Curley Horse

My friend, K, brought her horses down from Alaska and this Bashkir Curley is her favorite trail horse. The distinctive tight Curley coat is perfect for cold country and their Steady Eddie disposition makes for an exceptionally stable trail partner. Never skittish and preferring human companionship, this rare breed is highly regarded as a mountain endurance horse. Their mane and tail will form dreadlocks, but most owners cut the split mane and comb it out. He's a love and I'm looking forward to a ride.
