The Bees are Back in Town...

Let the time-wasting begin!

I'm not a huge fan of grape hyacinths, but the bees love them... I really couldn't choose between these two shots: I love the fact the bumblebee is covered in blue (almost like paint) and I was impressed by the crispness of the honeybee image. I'm not sure if that was due to the gorgeous light (and therefore relatively high shutter speed) or if my new macro lens made a  difference.  It normally takes some practice before I can get images this sharp.
