The view from the Sir Walter Scott (first extra) as it took us up Loch Katrine. It was Cameraman’s birthday so we had a day out in the Trossachs. First stop was the Pier Cafe at Stronachlachar (second extra) for coffe and cake, a walk by the loch then back to the cafe for some soup. Then to Trossachs Pier to board the boat for the hour’s cruise. I’m not sure that my photographs show the extent today’s lovely weather. Such a contrast to yesterday. It was dry, sunny and even warm. Loch Katrine is lovely too. It is the main water supply for Glasgow and is closely associated with Rob Roy MacGregor and Walter Scott.

After being out on the loch a quick turn around, out for yoga and then pizza to finish the birthday celebrations.
