Snowy mountains

Our friends took us to the Tahoe Donner cross country area. It is one of the best in the Tahoe area with views of nearby peaks in all directions. I decided to trade in my skis for snowshoes last year to preserve my brittle bones. I miss the gliding but the big reward is still just being in the snow.
