water buffalo calves

yes, really ...!

I went with number one daughter for a drive up to Macroom to look at a herd of water buffalo, as she is looking to buy some meat.

It was hard to get close to the adults though I did get a few shots, but these big curious babies won the day.

A gorgeous bright day. All of West Cork looking absolutely stunning in the sunshine. But cold, very cold.
