“Know your customer”

Will be a sad day, but can’t remember when I last purchased an item of clothing there.

Hopefully to be replaced by an inspired store, Meanwhile maybe the umpteenth change at the top will succeed where others failed.

Have my doubts, in the good times, staff were lifers, looked after well, gold plated pensions and were proud to work there.

Head Office was dynamic, responded to change, innovative, and understood what people wanted to buy. Merchandise was about quality and value, produced by a loyal mainly GB supplier base.
OK we buy on-line, and the competition’s improved. But in the right hands, I’m convinced this store can resurrect itself.

(NB They have another more attractive *out of town one here, and a couple of Simply Food stores. *not convenient for me)
