when big pete met little pete

oh yes, the weekend is here!

had a bit of an impromptu lie-in til about 8am! not like me at all! the first frost this morning too, some places have even had a little snow.

breakfast, shower and then off to meet Pete the pup for the first time! picked up mum, Li and Big Pete on the way and then we're off. a glorious morning, blue sky, beautiful sunshine, and a nice drive up to Doncaster.

we meet Pete. oh so beautiful and tiny. bizarrely too, his brother is now called Jasper! (which is the name of Big Petes first dog!). we stay for about an hour, chatting things through, watching Pete have his lunch with his brother and 3 sisters. i can't wait to get him now, i know it's not all going to be plain sailing, but it's going to be a lot of fun!

We called for a Macs on the way home at Woodhall. not had one of those in a while!

home and then i took a little trip out with the camera. surely not many glorious autumnal days left with so much colour on show. i drove to Eastwood Cemetery, and took some pics. this photo is of D H Lawrences resting place.

did a bit of shopping, final ingrediants for my Christmas Pud, and then home to make a start on it. Made a fire too when i got in, first one this autumn.

today has been a fab day. today i met little Pete who is going to change my life quite a bit. love him to bits already!
