Glorious weather today...probably best not to get used to it though. Mostly spent the day at my computer but got out with the dogs after lunch, after a very expensive (nearly £300!!) trip to the vets. This comprised four repeat prescriptions, two new prescriptions and half an hour of the vet’s time examining various lumps and bumps.

Basil has a big lump on his tail, which is benign, and his ongoing cough, which he kindly demonstrated several times to the vet who thought it was probably chronic Westie lung, as previously diagnosed, although it would take an x-ray to determine if it was anything more sinister.

Polly had a scabby lump removed from her side for which she has antibiotics and healing gel. If it heals and disappears all is well; if it doesn’t they’ll do a biopsy. She’d also been limping and incessantly licking her front left paw.,.this turned out to be a stone stuck between her toes and she’s much happier now it’s been removed :)
