Still Standing
When the homes in my neighborhood were built 60 years ago, cherry trees were planted to line the streets. The trees have aged and many have had to be removed. Fortunately, the town replaces them, free of charge. Not all neighbors have chosen that option so the presence of these trees is now hit or miss. We still have one, which loses limbs every year, but continues to welcome us at the end of the driveway. This year it's home to a family of nuthatches. It still blooms, so I'm using it for Flower Friday today. I was in photoshop with it, and decided to try something different. This has a touch of oil painting effect added.
Thank you Anni, for continuing to host the flower challenge!
