Minster Monsters

Katie and Gordon on the York Wheel, the Minster in the background. We were there for Katie's 6th birthday, planned and booked for next-to-nothing 3 months in advance. Of course, with 3 months to plan we made the train in much panic with 2 minutes to spare! All the way south through Northumberland was snow-covered and we were glad of our warm layers in York. Lunch with friends Dave, Gill and sons Sean and Stephen then on to Jorvik Dig for a familiar but fun run-through of simulated archeology. Recommended, but perhaps not 3 times in one year... ;)

A great day out with my little ones and another day to look forward to. Lovely.
