Leek, Asparagus and Ham Flan
A quick bit of kitchen improvisation today, as I discovered some leeks, asparagus and a couple of slices of Parma ham in the fridge that all wanted using up. Answer: put them all together in a quiche! The internet is definitely the cook's friend - not only did it come up with the recipe, but had a very helpful tip on how to fix any cracks in your pastry while it's blind baking.
