So the Princess found the magic fairy ring and bracelet, and, by their magic light, quickly ate the cake before anyone else could taste a crumb.

Parties galore today, first Shannon's 5th birthday, a fancy dress extravaganza that involved large amounts of running, shouting, and consuming of ham or cheese sandwiches and cake. Then the local community party in the hall, which, strangely enough, consisted of pretty much the same, although there were corned beef sandwiches and dookin' for apples as well.

Three very tired, hyper, happy kids now in bed, asleep. Time for the same for me, methinks.
