Instead of heavy rain & thunderstorms which had been predicted we woke up to blue skies which stayed throughout the day, barring the occasional shower.

A day of two halves: this morning saw us visit the Dolls Hospital Museum followed by a trip across town to the Puppet Museum; this afternoon saw us in Alfama visiting Santa Engracia & Sao Vincent's de Fora. 

All were fascinating in different ways and all quiet unlike other attractions which we bypassed due to lengthy queues - not quite sure why there is such a difference. 

The all important fridge magnet was also purchased. 

Further treats await this evening - a Taste of Fado & then our final dinner.
