Talyllyn

drifts gently away from Rhydyronen station on a glorious, crisp autumn day.

A curious day in that for the first time in months I could take my ease. Nowhere to go, nothing urgent to do. Bliss ... but was it a waste of a beautiful day? It would have been grand to climb high on the hills around here, maybe above the lake at Tal-y-llyn just a few miles up the valley. But Ruth was helping the YMG (Young Members Group) to build the bonfire for tonights end of season party, here at Rhdyronen where we stay, so as she wanted me to 'be around' I had license to rest, sleep or read. In the end I did all three before strolling across to the station to watch the train go through.
