Hard Fought

A day of sport. A Park Run at Dalby. Very pleased with a PB over the course today. Then home followed by a trip to watch our youngest son Tom play rugby.

Today’s visitors were Alnwick who are the table toppers with Malton mid table. In their previous two games they had averaged 60 points per game. Malton did well to lead in the first half. However Alnwick fought back to take the lead in the second half. It was good to see Malton fight back with two tries. The last of which was scored and converted just before the end of the match. The final score was 29 to 23 in Malton’s favour and a bonus point too much to the delight of the supporters!

This is on the way to the last and winning try just metres short of the try line.
