Conwy Bridges

The Conwy Estuary is crossed by three bridges. The oldest  a suspension bridge was built by Thomas Telford in 1826. The railway bridge was built by Robert Stephenson in 1846 and the road bridge in 1958.
The impressive thirteenth century Conwy Castle (see extra) looks down on the three bridges. An undulating wall surrounds the town and can be walked by visitors
