Peace and Tranquility

My first visit of the year to Testwood Lakes, the wildlife reserve in the Hampshire countryside at Totton,

Unfortunately with all the rain we have experienced in the past month, not to mention a couple of days of snow, it is still very wet underfoot and footpaths are muddy.

Yet the water in the lakes provide an ever inspiring glimpse of the joy of the countryside.

And who knows, the evidence of Spring may be closer than we think.
