Pied stilt ballet

Some days there are no birds, lots of days there are a few birds, today there were lots of birds.

They were roosting as the tide came in, all very peaceful until suddenly there was a harrier hawk overhead - and all the birds were off. The stilts were the only ones that came back!

Have added 3 extras, as I couldn't really choose - a kingfisher, a white heron, and a flock of godwits that have obviously decided not to fly to Siberia this year.
