Kai Fest

Kai is the Maori word for food.  Today Motueka held their annual Kai Fest to celebrate harvest time and the great food produced in the Motueka area.  As well as the food stalls there was entertainment from community groups.  I liked this vibrant performance from the Nelson Sambassadors.  A dance and percussion group playing the rhythms of Brazillian Samba.  
I had some fun keeping my camera on f8 and trying to capture some candid shots. 
The curry evening was a success and the dessert served with whipped cream was cooling after the curries.
