Dahlias

The dahlias seem to be late this year. Soon there will be frost and that will be the last of them for this year.

We had two grandchildren staying last night. They are lovely but it takes ages sorting out the mess when they have gone home. All kids are the same. They get excited and tear around from one activity to another.

Otherwise I have been occupied fertilising the garden, cleaning another cupboard and knitting. I’m as bad as the kids tearing around from one activity to another. The weather is still warm and dry so all my pot plants need a daily watering. Also ironed, washed the kitchen floor and other assorted household jobs. And a trip to Bunnings where I purchased irrigation pipes and drippers.
