Southport

We walked down the pier today. Southport has such a strange tide. I took this photo from the very end of the pier. The tide goes out so far that it sometimes feels like you could walk to Blackpool! You can't though. There's quicksand and all sorts of dangerous tides.

It's always good to be back here. Seeing some friends tonight and we go home tomorrow.
