Rainbow Lorikeets

The lovely Rosellas from yesterday returned this morning to our new bird feeder for a morning snack but two noisy Lorikeets quickly chased them off. The lorikeets then spend the rest of the morning getting into the seed until I was sure they would burst! There were also quite a few other lorikeets flying around and doing all sorts of acrobatics in the trees but they didn't get a look in either. This shot is better in large.
The lovely Fig Bird and his female companion also were back very fleetingly but didn't seem interested in the seed - I think they may only eat fruit. I added the only photo of him that I managed to get before he was gone again.
