Christmas Rose

These Christmas Roses give the garden some colour at this time of year . Their proper name is hellebore niger and they are not related to roses in any way .  More info here.


Noticeably warmer today and we caught up with some jobs that need doing prior to our holiday the week after next . The town is very quiet with lots of folk away at the moment on holiday .
