Ready for The Chop

Today it rained. It rained soft, it rained hard, it rained incessantly. It has not stopped raining. The highlight of my day was when I discovered we had a blockage in the drain outside so had to dig my rods out of the shed and clear it. In the rain. (We are at the end of a line so I have spared you a shot of the inside of the inspection pit once I cleared the blockage.) I did a few shots of rather bedraggled birds on the seed feeder but none were great, so here is a view of me preparing tonight's dinner, with the Yorkshire Carnegie - Jersey game on my iPad which was being broadcasted live on Facebook.

My drain rods also came with a chimney sweeping brush. I've not been brave enough to sweep my own chimney but if any local Blippers would like to be a Guinea Pig at their own risk, let me know.
