Lunaria and guest

Lunch out at friends’ today. It was a lovely day and very different from the usual Sunday routine. After lunch two of us went on a walk while other two stayed inside and played cards.
Lunaria is in full bloom and it’s lovely colour attracts a lot of insects! The wood we walked through has got funny looking tree trunks, see extra. One of my friends says they look as if they’ve got a lot of mounts. She says they are singing trees!
