Looking for fairies

We spent a lovely morning walking through Rushmere country park woods, knocking at the little doors in the trees and peeping through windows to try and see the wood’s elves and fairies. AR loved it.....half the time asking ‘where the fairies?’ and then being ‘bit scared’. This photo reminds me of her earlier exploration of miniature scenes last November  
No such ambivalence around the puddles though (extra) or the roundabout and sandy play area. Looked at the heron chicks in their nests in the  trees through binoculars (bit challenging for her!) then home and I made a big dinner for T&Kt and Mt&H......nice chat about the wedding, decorating and general stuff.
All went to bed too full!
