A Writer's Life

Smile!

Thank you for your comments yesterday. I miss him terribly, but I'm OK. It was actually a rather strange day because you know how the first thing that fades after death is often their voice? well all day, I could hear him be happy for me. The big changes I had alluded to in the last few weeks were job interviews. In my opinion, Tuesday's went particularly bad. But: I got myself a teaching job at a college for what seems to be a rather long time. As long as I'll want, maybe!!! I learned on Tuesday, but couldn't say anything because I didn't knew what they would offer, and I had to talk to my boss. I spent today smiling uncontrollably! I resigned my subtitling gig, will finish next Friday, and will finally start the job I have been training for! It's not the university professorship yet, but hey, it's teaching French and literature!!!
Happy, happy, happy!

(My brother would have said: about time, sister, with his gruffy voice and corner smile)

PS: Again, as I did at 100 and 200, I didn't realize this was 300... But if you ask me, a smile like this is a pretty good picture for a blipanniversary!
