Two bridges....

.....old and modern separated by an island, this is the Rakaia Gorge.

As rain came down and just 6C, it was a brisk walk over glistening river stones in shades of grey, brown, green, white and red, out to the river where  breathtaking moody views could be seen.

We're now nicely settled in Geraldine, perhaps a pub meal at the local tonight and maybe some snow sights tomorrow as we move further south.

I've actually blipped on the right day while away, be nice if I can keep it up haha :)
