The old brig...

...not often it is in our route but MrR, the Fangler and I walked to the University today to watch, “A wrinkle in time” at the Macrobert Centre. This was taken on our more leisurely stroll home.

We were marching on the road there to get there on time...ended up with 20 minutes to spare as we took a wee shortcut. Google had said 1hr 23 minutes walking from our house...we did it in 59 minutes with the shortcut. We took the google route on the way home, at a leisurely pace with an ice-cream stop and that took us 1hr 23...I wonder if Google allows for ice-cream stops in all their routes.

The wee fella had been keen to see the movie...the others not so. Seemed not a lot of other folk wanted to see it either as we had a private showing! Just the three of us in the cinema. I quite enjoyed it...so did MrR and it lived up to the wee fella’s expectations.

Grateful for a decent walk with good company on a mild, sunny spring day after our day of travel yesterday.
