We Are The Champions

Dear O'H dear and Lovely Tea Jenny,

My day started by Rod and I running the Edinburgh kilomathon (13.1 km). I’m not sure why I get like this, but I am always really nervous before an organised event.

This was the most enjoyable event I have ever done. It is a really nice run from Ocean Terminal along the cycle paths to Murrayfield stadium. It is surprisingly exciting running into the stadium. Rod did comment that it is the most sober he has ever been at Murrayfield.

Obviously, this earned me the right to park my behind on the sofa with Eldest Mini Princess and binge watch the rest of Santa Clarita Diet.

It is very annoying when you are finished watching a programme that you love. We both felt borderline bereaved when it finished. We had that slightly confused ‘What will we do now?’ moment.
