Visited south of France, which was Nice.

Went to Menton, where Katherine Mansfield was sent to recuperate and where Jean Cocteau decorated the marriage room at the town hall. (There's a great museum dedicated to him on the waterfront as seen in my last two blips.) Trains on strike today so got the bus back to Nice via Monaco. Have now been round the hairpin bend driven every year in the Grand Prix. Interesting sculpture in the Nice terminal by Stephane Cipre.
