Bellerophon

In steam at Bewdley on the Severn Valley Railway. Built in 1874, it was the oldest locomotive running on the SVR at the Open House Weekend. It was running a shuttle service from Kidderminster to Bewdley, and we travelled with it over that stretch of the line before switching to Bradley Manor for the journey to Highley. There were a lot of trains running today, and also model railway exhibitions at Kidderminster and Highley. The models were in engine sheds at the two sites, and this meant a considerable walk from  the station, and due to the distance I did not feel up to walking to the one at Highley, which was a pity.

An excellent day out, though I was exhausted after it!

The extras include some shots of model railways at Kidderminster, plus some more full-size engines.
