A hole in the clouds

The morning was brighter than anticipated but then the clouds rolled in as forecast.  Shopping and jobs in the morning were followed by a walk in the afternoon.  I am always surprised how even after a short absence it takes a while to acclimatise to the altitude and the steep streets and paths for which walking on the Fens is no preparation.
