Drippy flowers
It rained all day yesterday and has rained all day today. I am not really complaining as the moment the blossoms started coming out my annual allergies started - incredibly itchy eyes and sneezing! So the rain gives me a bit of respite from that as the pollen conditions seem to settle down in the rain.
Thomas had a check up at the dentist today - he drove there but I had to go with him until he passes his driving test, which is booked for the end of May. He then went home to work and I went back out again to run some errands in the village and get groceries.
I took this photo of a magnolia flower in the rain, full of rain drops. This is from my newly planted magnolia stellata, also known as Royal Star and has star like flowers, unlike the more commonly seen pink magnolia soulangeana. I sound like I know what I am talking about - I don't, I just remember the landscape gardeners telling me that my magnolia was different to the usual type one sees.
Murdoch is going to the groomer on Wednesday, he is looking so scruffy at the moment - once he is smart again I will take photo of him for Blipdogs.
