Mono Monday - Every Picture Tells a Story

G and I went to Pensthorpe this morning and we thought we'd check out the new Wetland Hide which opened on Friday and gave us access to a part of the lakes that were inaccessible before. It's early days and there wasn't much to see. We did see a couple of Egyptian Geese and their goslings on the way back though - see Extras.

It was indeed quite wet and we needed our walking boots. It had rained before we arrived and started again when we left - we were quite lucky. The rain on the sign just said it all and I thought it would be suitable for the Mono Monday challenge (thanks to Kathy (Chantler63) for hosting).
