little wonders

One of the things I really want to do is to truly get lost in a beautiful city.For once, to get so lost in a city that I can't find my way back because I don't know the language. It can be anywhere in the world as long as it is aesthetically pleasing and complex enough that I can stay lost forever.  I would like to see the little wonders in a city rather than the main attractions. The graffiti on the walls, street musicians and tenderly watered flowers decorating balconies. People going on about their daily business, the laughter two friends share as they go down a hill. The lonely rock tops where you can see the ocean perfectly. Those indolent cats sleeping under the sweet afternoon sun. Yes, sure, old buildings are great but what I really would like to see are the little wonders.
