Jays rarely come to bird tables, but this year there is a shortage of acorns, so we had had the pleasure of this visitor for several weeks now. very shy and sees every movement so i have had to sit for long periods with my camera set ready to click click click and then sort out the best one. he takes about 5 peanuts then one in his beak and flies off.....to share with mate? do hope so
