Someone somewhere is turning twenty-eight...and will not have candles for their birthday cake because they fell on the ground in the alleyway.

Yesterday, my aunt said, "If the students show up tomorrow, you should teach them."

Then on Saturday morning when I came downstairs, she said, "I sent the students home."

The woman infuriates me.

Two other students showed up while I was downstairs so I taught them. I hope this confusing schedule doesn't drive my students away. Le sigh.
