Moonrise over Scapa Flow
After another beautiful warm Autumnal day we were treated to this moonrise. Today we spent taking pinhole photographs at some of the standing stones whet I had an unusual encounter.
I met a chap who was doing exactly the same thing, making pictures using film and a tripod, in his case panoramas, as a way of slowing down after working on digital projects. It turns out he was the Special Effects Supervisor on the new James Bond movie, Skyfall who wanted a break from work- so we spent an interesting ten minutes blethering about this and that.
It seems film's not dead yet.
