Brampton Parrot

A throwback to the days when your local park had an aviary. This is one of the parrots that inhabit the Brampton Park Aviary in Newcastle-under-Lyme near to where I live. 

It's a tiny park but a lovely spot to stroll. The local museum is also housed in the grounds, along with a children's playground and even a miniature railway run by the North Staffordshire Model Engineering Society. There's also a canon outside the museum!
