MonoMonday - Sheba

I had yesterday and today off. Today, I had no plans other than my car was getting serviced, so I was hoping that I could get a decent shot for a blip. The best laid plans! Yesterday, I noticed a lumpy/scabby bit under Maly’s chin, so an appointment with the vet would have to be made.

I got up at half past six as the lad from the garage in St Boswells was coming to pick up my car between half past seven and eight. At half eight, I phoned the vet and got an appointment at twelve for himself. I got a text from my pal Darren asking if I was free for coffee this morning, so I said yes, as long as he came to pick me up.

When I got out of the shower around nine o’clock, there was a text from one of the bosses from work - was there any chance I could come in for a shift? Darren dropped me back home at 1145, I popped Maly into his basket and Christine and Ben from next door gave me a lift to and from the vet’s surgery. It looks like Maly has been fighting and one area is quite swollen so we’re home with a five day course of antibiotics.

On the way home, we went to McDonalds where I treated Christine and Ben to a takeaway lunch, then I dropped Maly at home and got a run up to work for a two o’clock start. I phoned the garage and arranged for them to drop my car at the lab instead of taking it to the house.

I got home at about ten tonight with no picture to blip, so Sheba got the MonoMonday treatment. Phew, what a day!
