London Ringing Tour

Matt organised a very successful London ringing tour for our Kimble Band and a few extra ringers and some non-ringers.

We were lucky to be able to ring at St Martin-in-the-Fields as our first tower, after a good breakfast and chat at a nearby Wetherspoons.

We then went on to St Lawrence in Jewry, beautiful sounding 8 bells.  Then we headed down to Merton to ring on the newly installed 10 bells, the largest picture is of an all Kimble Band ringing these!   Majority of the band are learners and they did amazingly well all day, but to have an all Kimble Band ringing in a 10 bell towers is fantastic.  I am a very proud Tower Captain.

We the went on to ring at Holy Trinity at Clapham Common and St Saviour in Pimlico.

Then is was a few beers and a meal at Fullers Pub and home on a late train........all in all a grand day out!
