Squashed!

A photo of this squash ball is in fact a celebration of the fact that squash is now an event in the Commonwealth Games!! It’s also my entry for the Blackheath Photo Group Close Up Challenge. We meet again tomorrow and I did have a smile on my face when I set this shot up.

Squash has played a huge part in my life and I have been so excited to be able to watch it on the Channel 7 App over the past few days. I’ll be anxiously watching the women’s final tomorrow night as the Kiwi Joelle King will be playing and I’m secretly hoping Joelle will bring home the bacon.

I have a task ahead of me tonight to catch up on my blip journal. I’ve discovered that sometimes you just have to prioritise and although I’ve been taking photos, more important matters have taken over.
