One Million Stars - and counting

This art installation in King Geaorge Square, Brisbane was created by thousands of people from 15 nations. Despite its title - 'One Million Stars' the finished work consists of some 2.4 million hand-woven stars intended to raise awareness about violence and promote optimism and hope.
