The Man Engine

I posted this in colour yesterday and like the composition so much I thought I'd recreate it in monochrome for my black & white journal....

It's the largest mechanical puppet ever constructed in Britain (36feet high) has made its second day appearance as part of a five-day tour around Wales. The Man Engine, which resembles a giant miner, was launched in 2016 to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Cornish Mining World Heritage site. The aim of the tour is to highlight the legacy of Wales’ historic mining communities.
