Torres del Paine

This is what we came to Patagonia for. Eleven years ago, M did an epic 4 day trek called ‘The W’ around and in each of the three valleys between this massif. He was determined to bring me here one day. Today we took a small catamaran across Lake Pehoe, then started a 15km trek up into The French Valley, where we saw ice falls crashing down from the glacier. It was a beautiful walk, and the weather was mostly very good. A long day though, as we weren’t back at our camp until 8.30pm.

People kept offering to take our photo in this holiday, and we succumbed at the top of the walk, (extra).
