Autumn Colours

This time of the year the leaves turn to lovely reds and browns as nature signals the switch from summer to winter (Scotland needs to have some signal given the weather doesn't define the seasons...). However, just a few miles north of Pitlochry the trees turn a few more colours as they are transformed by the light and sound show of the Enchanted Forest.

I had planned this visit for a few months to coincide with the Weekly Blip Challenge end of month theme of Colour so it was quite disappointing to get up to Faskally Wood and find torrential rain. However, I was fortunate that the rain was coming straight down and so as long as I didn't point the camera upwards I could still get some great shots - hopefully you think this one is.
